13 weeks and counting !!

WOW... I really can not believe how fast the pregnancy seems to be going (even if I am nauseated every night and feel HUGE) Josh and I had our second OB apt at exactly 13 weeks and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat with the doppler this time so it was VERY loud and exciting. I sat there with my mouth open in amazement the entire time while Josh recorded the special moment on his phone. I swear I must have listened to that recording on the way home in the car at LEAST a dozen times!!! The doctor said that everything looked great as far as my exam and the heart beat sound like a healthy one! Our next apt is in 4 weeks and I will be 17 weeks at that time!!

Baby Hahn 11 weeks-First Ultrasound !!

Hey everyone! Today we had our first OB apt and everything went really well. We saw the baby on the ultrasound and he/she was moving around CRAZY!! You could see the profile of the face, the litte arms and legs, and the umbilical cord. The nurse said that the u/s looked wonderful and that I was due on July 31st... a little sooner that we thought! It was an amazing thing seeing our little baby moving around. Our next apt is in 2 weeks and we will be 13 weeks, moving right along into the 2nd Trimester already! We would love to share some pics with you. In the first pic the baby's arms are up in the air. The second pic is more detailed, as you can see the profile of the face really well. We also got a dvd with some recording of the ultrasound! Hope you all enjoy!

Happy New Year!!!

We are starting off the new year with a bang and we have so much to look forward to! We are almost 10 weeks pregnant already... time is really flying. I still feel a bit nauseated, with some days better than others. I am starting to get more tired... especially after those long 12 hour days on my feet in the Operating Room! :) We are looking forward to our first OB appointment Friday Jan. 9th when we will get to see the baby on ultrasound and hear the heartbeat.. YEAH! There is a chance that we will be able to see the baby moving around!! We will also find out more of an exact due date by the measurements of the baby and the physical exam. This will all be VERY exciting! We will keep you posted with all of the fun news!!!
